Meeting and pickup
Rental Kimono Okamoto Gion Shop is located on the atmospheric Nene-no-Michi, just a 1-minute walk from Kodaiji Temple and about 3 minutes from Yasaka Shrine. From the Gion bus stop, it is about a 5-minute walk. Look for our traditional Kyoto-style townhouse along Nene-no-Michi
What to expect
The listed price includes two women at the starting kimono price:
• Women’s Kimono: ¥2,980 + tax × 2
If one of the participants is male, you can change to a men’s kimono at the store and simply pay the price difference on the day.
After arriving at the store, you can see our actual kimono collection and freely choose your favorite designs and colors. Our staff will explain the different kimono plans and optional services available.
You are not limited to the plan selected at the time of booking. You can change or upgrade to any available kimono plan by paying the price difference at the store.
This experience also includes a 30-minute professional photo session. Depending on the route and timing, photos can be taken around the beautiful streets and scenic spots of Gion.
