    A Smart Escapes representative will pick you up from your hotel or airport in Dar es Salaam and transfer you to the SGR terminus in Dar es Salaam for the Early morning train to embark on your journey to Morogoro. Your trip will take approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.

    Mikumi National Park

    Upon arriving at the SGR train station, you will meet our professional driver, who will drive you to Mikumi National Park for a late morning Game Drive. You will have your picnic lunch and proceed with the game drive until evening. The guide will escort you to the hotel for dinner and overnight relaxation, as well as preparation for the next day's trip.

    After an early morning breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel and proceed with your adventure at the park. This will be the perfect day for you to see animals that you didn’t see on the previous day. The park spans the immense plain, and you will have the opportunity to see animals such as Elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, gazelles, buffalo, hippos, and all other wild animals. You will have lunch at the picnic campsite in the park, then go for an evening drive,

    After breakfast, your guide will take you to visit a Maasai village for a cultural visit. You will have lunch, then be transferred back to the SGR station for your trip to Zanzibar via Dar es Salaam by ferry or flight , or you can catch a flight directly from Mikumi Airstrip on the same day . On this day, you can also opt to spend the night in Dar es Salaam and depart with a morning ferry or flight to Zanzibar the next day.
