Meeting and pickup
Walk through Icy Strait Point as if you were walking into Hoonah. Just outside the Icy Strait Point security booth is a cul de sac where your ride will be waiting in a white Tundra truck with blue Hoonah Matata magnets on the doors. It is a 15 minute walk to the meeting point from the gondola.

Enjoy a guided drive through the village, taking in the local scenery and discovering the stories, traditions, and spirit of this special community.
From there, we'll welcome you to the Hoonah Matata Lodge, a private retreat nestled among the trees, where the peaceful beauty of Alaska invites you to slow down and breathe.
