Your English-fluent local companion and driver pick you up in a Buick GL8 for 8 fully customizable hours. Before you land, we send a guide covering Alipay, DiDi, VPN, eSIM — everything visitors find tricky. We're available before, during, and after your trip.

We bring a menu: neighborhoods, markets, temples, restaurants, and local activities we love. Want to change plans halfway? That's the point.

What sets us apart: Two people focused on you — one drives, one companion. No fixed script, no kickback stops, no rushing. We match your pace. Any local activity you dream up — tai chi, hanfu, Chinese medicine, dumpling-making, fake market haggling — just ask. Classic sights if you want, but we prefer the Shanghai we live in: design districts, temples beside art spaces, hidden lane houses, morning tai chi in the park.

Pickup details:

We offer complimentary pickup from any hotel or residence within Shanghai's Inner Ring Road. For locations outside this area, a small surcharge may apply — please contact us before booking. Your companion and private car will arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled start time. We'll send you the driver's contact and license plate number one night before via email or Wechat.

    This is a fully customized experience — there is no fixed route. After booking, we'll ask what you care about: food, photography, history, architecture, shopping, local life, or something else entirely. We then build an itinerary around your interests. On the day itself, your companion can adapt in real time — stay longer at a place you love, skip something you're not feeling, or pivot to something completely different. Nothing is locked in.

    Wander tree-lined Wukang Road and Anfu Road with your companion. 1920s lane houses, tucked-away coffee shops, historic mansions hidden behind ivy-covered walls. Your companion knows which doors lead to courtyard gardens and which alley has the best pour-over in the neighborhood.

    Start at Shanghai's oldest temple — a working Buddhist site with a 1,700-year-old pagoda. Then cross into the West Bund, where contemporary art galleries and riverside walks sit right next to ancient history. Two Shanghais, side by side.
