Tucked into the hills of northwestern Corfu, Vistonas is a quintessential inland village surrounded by dense olive forests and agricultural countryside.
Way before modern roads were built, locals used this cobblestone trail to haul trade goods up from the coast using donkeys. Today, we’ll visit the start of the path just on the edge of Makrades. You only need to walk about 50 meters down to reach the best part: dramatic cliffside views over the bright blue bay of Agios Georgios Pagon, with Porto Timoni off in the distance. It lets you experience a slice of local history and catch incredible panoramas without breaking a sweat.
Perched high above Corfu's northwest coast, Angelokastro is a 13th-century Byzantine fortress offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Ionian Sea and the dramatic coastline. We will admire and photograph Angelokastro from one of the nearby viewpoints, where you'll enjoy equally stunning views of the fortress and the coastline.
This old mountain village features narrow, winding cobblestone alleyways, colorful shutters, and 18th-century stone houses. . Perched high above the coast, it is famous for the Bella Vista viewpoint, which offers some of the most spectacular, postcard-worthy panoramic views of the turquoise bays and olive groves of Paleokastritsa. You’ll have a front-row seat to one of the most dramatic coastal views in the Ionian. An absolute must for your photo collection.
This double sided cove is a local favorite, known for its stunning turquoise waters and quiet atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to leave the world behind, snap some incredible photos, and enjoy a refreshing swim in one of the most picturesque spots on the coast.
While this is one of Corfu’s most famous wild beaches, it tends to get quite crowded. It isn’t the ideal spot for a quiet swim or relaxation during high season, but it is an iconic location perfect for capturing some stunning photos.
Get ready for some off-road action! We’ll make a stop at the Paradise Beach (Chomi) & Stellari Beach Viewpoints, a spot that most tourists skip because the road is too challenging for standard cars. Those viewpoints offer one of the most stunning, breathtaking sights on the island. The wild beaches below are only accessible by boats, so this is strictly a photo stop.
A drive past Corfu’s UNESCO-listed Old Town by Jeep offers a scenic coastal cruise. Since the historic, cobblestone alleys (known as kantounia) are completely pedestrianized and closed to cars, your drive takes you along the stunning perimeter route.
