I toured the southern Mendoza in a full-day excursion that combines nature and history. Leaving from the city of Mendoza, you will cross desert landscapes on the way to San Rafael, where you will take a city tour of its most outstanding points. You will continue towards the imposing Atuel Canyon, with panoramic stops to appreciate its rocky walls carved by the river, and towards the El Nihuil and Valle Grande dam. A guide will accompany you throughout the tour, with transfers included. Also in Valle Grande you have optional activities to do, Rafting, Catamaran, and Zip-lining, not included in the tour price, subject to the weather conditions of that day.

    Canon del Atuel

    A winding road will take you through the Atuel Canyon, carved over the years by the wind and water. Along the way, you can observe curious rock formations that nature has been sculpting over time, as well as appreciate the chain of dikes and hydroelectric plants that are fed by the Atuel River. A unique geological landscape in southern Mendoza.

    El Nihuil

    Nihuil is a tourist village located on the reservoir of the same name, in the department of San Rafael. They will make a scenic stop by the artificial lake, with views of the surrounding hills, before continuing towards the Atuel Canyon.

    Valle Grande is the final point of the tour through the Atuel Canyon, with the dam of the same name and the Atuel River as protagonists. It is time to enjoy free time, take photos, and, if you wish, hire optional activities such as rafting (not included in the tour price).

    Mini city tours through the city, A panoramic tour of the most outstanding points of the city of San Rafael, known as the "oasis of the south" of Mendoza. They will get to know its main square, commercial arteries, and some of the city's representative symbols before finishing the tours.
