The app-guided route ends at Bhanurangsi Pier in Talat Noi, beside the Chao Phraya River. This is not the same as the starting point. Travellers can finish the experience here at their own pace and continue independently by taxi, Grab, public transport, or on foot.
Begin at Chinatown Gate and open the Bitewalks app to start your app-guided experience. Follow step-by-step directions through Yaowarat’s lively streets, markets and traditional businesses. The complete route includes a curated mix of local food and drink recommendations, cultural points, hidden gems and photo-worthy locations across three neighbourhoods. The itinerary below highlights only the main areas of the experience.
Follow the Bitewalks app into a historic trading district where old commercial buildings, traditional businesses and newer creative spaces sit side by side. Discover additional food, cultural and photography stops, with guidance and local context provided in the app.
Continue with app-guided directions through an old riverside community filled with narrow lanes, heritage buildings, workshops, street art and local life. The app leads you to selected food, drink and dessert recommendations, as well as hidden photo-worthy locations.
Follow the final app-guided section to Bhanurangsi Pier beside the Chao Phraya River. Pause, enjoy the atmosphere and take final photographs before continuing independently. Overall tour duration: Around 3 hours at a relaxed, flexible pace, including food stops, photographs and short breaks.
