An excursion to the Kasbahs of Telouet and Ait Ben Haddou, near Ouarzazate, offers a fascinating glimpse into the rich historical and cultural heritage of the Berber people.
You will cross the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, which offers breathtaking views at every turn. Along the majestic Atlas Mountains, you will encounter Berber villages nestled on the slopes and in the valleys, showcasing how life thrives in this land, with its fields and gardens. The UNESCO World Heritage sites of the Kasbahs of Ait Ben Haddou and Telouet,are examples of multigenerational dwellings. Driving down the Ounila Valley, you will also encounter many smaller, humble Berber houses while driving between the two kasbahs, allowing you to further immerse yourself in the local environment.
