SNUBA Bonaire is the first and only provider of SNUBA® on the island, giving non-divers a unique way to explore Bonaire's renowned coral reef without any certification or heavy equipment. Aboard our own catamaran, the Mushi Mushi, guests enjoy a personal, small-group experience led by certified guides — combining SNUBA®, free-time snorkeling, and relaxing on deck with drinks and snacks, all in one unforgettable half-day trip.

Please meet at Nautico Marina in Kralendijk, Bonaire, where our catamaran the Mushi Mushi is docked. Arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time to complete check-in and board the boat.

What to expect

Your adventure begins with a scenic boat ride aboard the Mushi Mushi, our catamaran, to one of Bonaire's top reef locations. Once we've secured the boat to a designated mooring, your guide will give a full safety briefing and introduce you to SNUBA® — a unique way to explore underwater that combines the simplicity of snorkeling with the freedom of scuba diving. Instead of wearing a heavy tank on your back, you'll breathe through a long hose connected to a floating oxygen supply at the surface, controlled by your guide. This means no diving certification, no complicated equipment, and no prior experience are needed. Just put on your gear and breathe naturally. It's a great option for families too, as kids aged 8 and up can join in on the fun. You'll spend time exploring Bonaire's vibrant coral reef and colorful marine life up close, at a relaxed pace, guided by an experienced and certified guide the whole time. There's also free time during the tour to snorkel at your own pace and explore the surface above the reef. After your underwater experience, relax on deck as we cruise back to Nautico Marina, enjoying a drink (beer, wine, rum punch, or non-alcoholic) along with a snack board.
