Because it's not a generic sightseeing tour. I am a local host and share Oaxacan cuisine from an authentic perspective, visiting traditional markets, explaining ingredients and techniques. Groups are small to offer close attention, answer questions and tailor the experience to the interests of each visitor.

Walk north from the Zócalo of Oaxaca to Gral. Antonio de León 1. Find the clothing and crafts aisle, and locate the van with the Lescas Co Tours logo, where the staff will meet you.

This activity ends back at the meeting point.

What to expect

We will wait for you at the meeting point, take the transport and travel around 10 min to reach the market, after shopping you will return to transport to continue the journey to the kitchen for 20 minutes. Coming to the kitchen will begin this experience, at the end we will return to the city center where we are at the beginning
