1Mirror Lake Scenic Byway
Drive to Provo River Falls. The Mirror Lake Scenic Byway (State Route 150) is one of Utah's most spectacular mountain drives. Starting right out of Kamas, UT (84036)—known as the "Gateway to the Uinta Mountains"—the route climbs high into the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest.

2Provo River Falls
Explore the Provo River Falls with opportunities for photos. Provo River Falls is one of the most accessible and picturesque natural stops along the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway (State Route 150). Located roughly 24 miles east of Kamas, Utah, the site features a series of cascading waterfalls where the upper Provo River plunges over a dramatic, rocky gorge.

Spend one hour walking around Mirror Lake on a flat dirt trail taking pictures of Bald Mountain and Mirror Lake. Mirror Lake is one of the crown jewels of the Uinta Mountains and a must-visit stop along the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway. Situated at an elevation of over 10,000 feet, the lake is framed by towering evergreen forests and the dramatic peak of Bald Mountain.
