We will visit the Cathedral of the Assumption located in Cuernavaca, one of the oldest in America with a style of fortress-like construction, made by the Franciscans. Inside it stands out the image of Jesus in full assumption and a 30 meter mural narrates the martyrdom of St. Philip of Jesus and the 26 martyrs of Nagasaki in Japan.
We will visit the magical village of Taxco de Alarcón, the world capital of silver, where we will find a lot of items of this precious metal and learn to distinguish silver from silver. Walking through its streets we can enjoy the atmosphere of a typical Mexican village, with its cobblestone streets, bench-colored houses with red tile roofs and balconies overflowing with flowers.
