Even in Kyoto—a major hub for traditional Japanese performing arts—"Sogu" is virtually the only place where Noh workshops are held on a regular basis. Because Noh masks are delicate and precious, the opportunity to actually wear one—and even step onto the stage to perform—is a distinctive feature of the "Sogu" experience.
It is located in central Kyoto, about a three-minute walk west from Kyoto City Hall along Oike-dori Street. It is on the third floor of a building that has a seal shop on the ground floor.
