Sip Pomalo is a relaxed Croatian wine tasting in the heart of Old Town Split, created for people who want to discover what they genuinely enjoy—not simply be told what is “good.”
Across two unhurried hours, taste seven Croatian wines alongside a signature cold plate from Chops Grill. After a welcome sparkling wine, six wines are served in three side-by-side pairs: white beside white, rosé beside rosé, and red beside red. The format is simple: compare, contrast, and find the styles that suit your taste.
Your host has explored 100+ Croatian wineries and shares stories of the people, places, and wines behind the bottles. Each wine is from a winery she has visited, a winemaker she has met personally, or both.
You will leave with a better sense of what to order at dinner, which Croatian wines to look for, and perhaps a few new friends around the table.
Pomalo (poh-MAH-loh) is a Dalmatian expression meaning “take it easy.” There is no rush—just good wine, food, and conversation.

Paradiso is located off the main shopping street, Marmontova Street. Look for the famous bronze "Pirija" (Funnel) Fountain in the middle of the street. At the fountain, turn right down Tončićeva Street. Paradiso's entrance is just a few steps down on your left
