At GreenWave we work in small groups to ensure greater accompaniment, safety and practice time. In addition to learning to surf, you will discover the importance of the ocean, respect for the marine environment and the values of the surfing community.

You can reach Makaha Beach directly by taxi. If you are walking from Miraflores, go down Bajada Balta and cross the pedestrian bridge. Pass the surfer statue, walk left to the lifeguard tower and, just after, you will find new Greenwave canopy.

More than a class, GreenWave invites you to live a local, personalized and conscious experience.
Your experience begins at Makaha Beach, where you will meet your instructor and receive all the necessary equipment. Before entering the water, we will share the basic principles of surfing, safety at sea and some aspects of the surf culture that is part of Lima’s identity.
We share a passion for the sea, surfing and the lifestyle around them.
This experience is ideal for solo travelers, couples, families and groups of friends who want to discover Lima from a different perspective: across the ocean. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never touched a board or if you already have experience; you just need to learn, connect with the sea and enjoy an authentic experience that you’ll remember long after your last wave.
