From the Old Town to the MedienHafen, you’ll discover the city from a very special perspective. A guided bike tour is the perfect combination of sightseeing, exercise and entertainment.
Our shop is located at Ackerstraße 53 in Düsseldorf Flingern. You can reach the location walking from the Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) or the city center, or by public transport (bus and tram).
We cycle at a leisurely pace through Düsseldorf’s beautiful Hofgarten and enjoy the views of the parks, the northern Düssel and, now and then, the buildings in the city center
We make our way along the Rhine promenade towards the Old Town, passing interesting monuments such as the City Charter Monument, breweries and art museums.
A key attraction in the old town is the fascinating town hall. We learn a great deal about its history, architecture and local life.
In the Old Town, the ‘longest bar in the world’ awaits us. Amidst historic alleyways and traditional buildings, you’ll learn fascinating facts about the eventful history of this Rhine metropolis.
With a view of the city centre, we cycle on to the other side of the Rhine, heading towards Oberkassel
The Oberkassel Rhine promenade is ideal for cycling and offers wonderful views of the modern skyline and the old town time and again.
Cross the Rheinknie Bridge to return to the right bank of the Rhine in Düsseldorf.
Here in the Medienhafen, Düsseldorf shows off its very modern side. The world-famous Gehry buildings, in particular, captivate visitors with their extraordinary design and symbolise the city’s innovative and forward-looking character
We’ll take a relaxing break at the popular Carlsplatz. The traditional market, with its regional specialities, cosy cafés and sunny terraces, is the perfect place to linger.
The tour now takes you along the elegant Königsallee. As you pass exclusive boutiques, the modern Kö-Bogen and the bustling shopping streets, you’ll discover today’s stylish and cosmopolitan Düsseldorf.
We round off the tour with a drive through Little Tokyo. Düsseldorf is home to Germany’s largest Japanese community. In this lively neighbourhood, you’ll be immersed in a unique world of Japanese culture, authentic restaurants and unusual shops – right in the heart of the city.
