This relaxed Nenana River float weaves three miles of flat water with two short Class II rapids before settling into consistent Class I paddling beneath the Alaska Range. Suitable for beginners and experienced paddlers, the guided trip emphasizes learning river dynamics and paddling skills while searching for wildlife and enjoying mountain views. Guides provide safety instruction and interpretive commentary on local geology and natural history, and all river equipment is supplied.
