Visit the Athirappilly Waterfalls. The largest waterfall in Kerala drops from a width of 330 feet, sending up a misty, roaring spray. It is highly famous as a filming location for movies like Baahubali.
Located a short 5 km drive upstream from Athirappilly. Unlike the thunderous drop of Athirappilly, Vazhachal features a calmer, gently cascading flow across large rocks, creating serene natural pools.
heeyappara is a magnificent seven-tier waterfall with water descending from a height of 1000 feet. It is a unique experience to stand close to the water, near the bottom of the waterfalls and watch the cascading water. You can take a dip in the pool of water formed below or enjoy the spray of cool water. In the mornings, sometimes you can see a beautiful rainbow on the spray of water.
he nearby Valara Waterfalls complements Cheeyappara with its own lush greenery and is a lovely picnic location. Valara Falls lies amidst several other tiny cascades which are part of the chain of waterfalls in the Deviyar River originating from the Western Ghats. The view is spectacular in the monsoon and post-monsoon seasons when the falling cascade makes the air around it misty.

Suggest starting at 9 am for sightseeing with Eravikulam National park Note: The Eravikulam National Park tickets can be booked in advance or at the counter. The park is closed from Feb to April due to the breeding time of goats. Tea Museum is closed on Monday.

Suggest to start by 9am as Munnar to Thekkady will take 3-4 hours. On reaching Thekkady, you may go for Periyar boating to see the Periyar wild life sanctuary (Tickets can be booked in advance or at the counter). In the evening, you can go for optional activities like Kathakali, Elephant ride, Elephant bath, Musical fountain, and Ayurveda massages. All the activities have separate entrance fees. Thekkady to Alleppey would take 4 hrs hence suggest starting by 8 am to reach the houseboat by 12 – 1 pm. Houseboat will be stopped for lunch for 1hrs with the cruise till 5:30 pm. The boat will be anchored till the next day morning,with a 1-hour cruise in the morning for check out at 9 am. There are different categories of houseboats available like Deluxe, Premium, and Luxury, where Deluxe is the basic boat.
