This ticket provides admission to the permanent exhibition at the Yamato Museum, where visitors can explore the history of Kure, the historic naval city where the battleship Yamato was built, as well as the development of Japan’s science and technology, including shipbuilding and steel production.
Inside the museum, visitors can see a variety of valuable exhibits, including the museum’s iconic 1/10-scale model of the battleship Yamato and an authentic Type 0 Carrier Fighter Model 62 (Zero Fighter). The museum also features interactive displays that allow visitors to discover the scientific and technological principles behind ships through hands-on experiences.
Exhibit descriptions are available in both Japanese and English. In addition, multilingual audio guides can be accessed on visitors’ own smartphones or tablets, making it easy for international guests to enjoy their visit.
