This is more than a snorkelling trip — you actively contribute to a real coral restoration project! Learn directly from the team carrying out the restoration, attach live coral fragments to your own reef structure, and then snorkel above the restored reef to see the results of the work firsthand. Your participation directly contributes to the ongoing restoration of Bali’s coral reefs.

What to expect
Offered daily, 09.00am to 02.00pm
• Includes restoration briefing, boat rides, 1/2 a reef structure (per person), coral fragments, water/tea/coffee and lunch
• Meet in Padangbai, Bali
• Suitable for participants aged 6 years and older
• Ability to swim highly recommended
• No previous reef or restoration knowledge required
• Bring swimsuit, towel, sun hat and sunscreen
After a short presentation where you learn all about coral, you will take a boat ride to Livingseas’ pontoon, anchored above the largest restoration site in Bali. Here you will have a briefing to understand the restoration work we've done and why. Followed by the best part, attaching coral fragments to reef stars yourself!
Once the reef star is full of coral we'll gear up for snorkeling and dive into the water! While divers install the structures below, you can explore the vibrant beauty of the restored coral reef.
