This full-day mountaineering adventure takes you to the summit of one of southern Chile's most iconic volcanoes. Unlike standard hiking tours, this experience combines trekking, alpine terrain, and high-mountain techniques under the guidance of certified mountain professionals.
The route ascends through native forests, volcanic sand slopes, rocky ridges, and seasonal snowfields, gradually revealing breathtaking views stretching from the Pacific Ocean to the Andes Mountains. Reaching the edge of Calbuco Volcano's crater at approximately 1,800 meters above sea level is a rewarding achievement, while the final ascent to the summit offers an exciting challenge for adventurous travelers seeking a true mountain experience.

Hike through native forest trails and volcanic terrain, gradually ascending to the vegetation limit at approximately 1,100 meters above sea level, where you will enjoy panoramic views stretching from the Pacific Ocean to the Andes Mountains. Continue along the volcanic ridge toward the main crater at around 1,800 meters above sea level, before tackling the final exposed section across volcanic rock, sand, and seasonal snow. Upon reaching the summit, enjoy a well-deserved rest while taking in the breathtaking panoramic views from the edge of Calbuco Volcano’s crater.
Return via the same route and transfer back.
