Day 1
Arrival in Chengdu and Pre Tour Briefing

All Day: Enjoy 24 hour airport or railway station pickup service. A dedicated driver will meet you at the arrival area with a name sign and transfer you directly to your hotel in central Chengdu for check in. After check in, enjoy free time depending on your arrival schedule. You may relax at the hotel or explore Kuanzhai Alley, Chunxi Road or Taikoo Li, experience the local atmosphere and try traditional Chengdu snacks. At 8:00 PM, join a pre tour briefing at the hotel. Your guide and trip coordinator will introduce the 7 day itinerary, Hanfu experience, safety information and key travel details. You will receive your tour materials and welcome pack, confirm your Hanfu size and have time for questions. After the briefing, enjoy the evening at your own pace. Dinner is at your own expense. The 1 hour duration refers to the scheduled pre tour briefing. Pickup and free time vary according to your arrival time.

Day 2
Dujiangyan Hanfu Experience and Ancient Irrigation Heritage

Dujiangyan Irrigation System
07:30 After hotel breakfast, change into Hanfu and meet the photographer before departure. At 08:30, travel about 1.5 hours to Dujiangyan Scenic Area. From 10:00 to 12:30, explore Yuzui, Feishayan and Baopingkou with your guide and learn how this ancient damless irrigation system controls and channels water. Enjoy Hanfu photos by the ancient weir and South Bridge with photography service included. From 12:30 to 14:00, enjoy lunch at your own expense near the scenic area. From 14:30 to 16:30, enjoy free time or a short rest. At 17:00, return to central Chengdu. In the evening, enjoy free time and dinner at your own expense, with an optional visit to Jinli Ancient Street.

Day 3
Mount Qingcheng Baduanjin and Hanfu Cultural Experience

Mount Qingcheng
07:00 After hotel breakfast, wear Hanfu and depart for Mount Qingcheng, about 1.5 hours away. From 08:30 to 09:30, join a one-hour Baduanjin wellness session in a peaceful courtyard or Taoist temple, guided by a senior Taoist master. From 09:30 to 10:30, enjoy a light Taoist vegetarian breakfast. From 10:30 to 13:00, explore the front mountain of Mount Qingcheng. Visit key sites such as Jianfu Palace, Natural Picture, Tianshi Cave and Shangqing Palace by cable car or on foot. Learn about Taoist culture and enjoy Hanfu photography among ancient temples, bamboo groves and stone paths. From 13:00 to 14:30, lunch is at your own expense. At 15:00, return to central Chengdu. The evening is free, with an optional visit to Heming Teahouse in People’s Park. Hotel breakfast, Taoist vegetarian breakfast and the first-entry ticket to Mount Qingcheng are included. Day 4
Du Fu Thatched Cottage Poetry and Wenshu Monastery

08:30 After hotel breakfast, wear Hanfu and depart for Du Fu Thatched Cottage. From 09:00 to 10:30, join a Tang and Song poetry recital led by a professional teacher, with simple explanations of meaning and rhythm. From 10:30 to 12:00, explore the cottage, including the Ministry of Works Shrine, Firewood Gate and Flower Path, while learning about Du Fu’s life and Tang Dynasty culture. Hanfu photography is included.

Wenshu Yuan Monastery
From 12:00 to 13:30, enjoy lunch at your own expense. From 14:00 to 16:00, visit Wenshu Monastery, one of Chengdu’s historic Buddhist temples. Explore its architecture, learn about Buddhist cultural symbols and enjoy a peaceful tea break in the garden. At 16:30, return to the hotel. The evening is free and dinner is at your own expense.

Day 5
Giant Panda Base Sichuan Opera Experience and Hot Pot Dinner

Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi)
After hotel breakfast, depart at 08:30 for the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. From 09:30 to 11:30, explore the panda enclosures and observe giant pandas eating, playing and resting. Depending on availability, visit areas such as the Moon Nursery and Sun Nursery. Your guide will introduce panda habits, conservation efforts and China’s panda protection programs. Photography service is included to capture memorable moments during the visit. At 11:30, depart for the Sichuan Opera experience venue. Lunch is at your own expense on the way.

Chengdu
From 13:30 to 16:00, enjoy an immersive Sichuan Opera cultural experience. Go behind the scenes with professional performers and learn about the meanings and colors of traditional opera facial makeup. Create your own painted face mask and try traditional opera costumes while learning basic stage movements and steps. You will also discover how classic Sichuan Opera performances such as face changing are prepared and presented. Professional performers will demonstrate selected techniques and introduce the traditions behind this unique art form. Photography service is included throughout the experience. At 16:30, return to the hotel for a short rest before dinner.

Wuhou Shrine Local Market and Sichuan Cooking Experience

After hotel breakfast, wear Hanfu and depart for Wuhou Shrine. From 09:00 to 11:00, explore Liu Bei Hall, Zhuge Liang Hall and Sanyi Temple with your guide. Learn about the Three Kingdoms through stories of famous historical figures such as Liu Bei, Zhuge Liang and Guan Yu. Admire the iconic red walls, bamboo shadows and traditional architecture while enjoying Hanfu photography throughout the visit. Admission to Wuhou Shrine is included.

From 13:00 to 14:30, explore a traditional Chengdu local market with your guide. Walk among lively stalls, learn how locals select fresh seasonal vegetables and discover distinctive Sichuan ingredients. Experience everyday neighborhood life and local shopping culture while purchasing fresh ingredients for the afternoon cooking class. This immersive market visit offers a closer look at Chengdu beyond its famous tourist attractions.

From 15:00 to 17:30, join a hands on Sichuan cooking class led by a professional instructor. Choose two dishes from Mapo Tofu, Kung Pao Chicken and Twice Cooked Pork, and learn traditional cooking techniques with adjustable spice levels. Prepare the dishes yourself with step by step guidance, then sit down together to enjoy your creations. Ingredients and instruction are included, and participants receive a Sichuan cooking experience certificate.

After hotel breakfast, enjoy free time according to your flight or train schedule. Your trip coordinator will assist with hotel check out and arrange your departure transfer. A dedicated driver will pick you up from the hotel and provide a private transfer to your designated airport or railway station in Chengdu. Departure service is available 24 hours to accommodate different flight and train schedules. You will also receive an electronic commemorative album with digital photos from your journey, preserving memorable moments from the 7 day Chengdu cultural experience. The tour ends upon arrival at the airport or railway station. Breakfast and departure transfer are included. Lunch and dinner are at your own expense.
