We first go to the Hongu, the main building where Kuraokami no Kami, the dragon and principal deity of water, rain, clouds, and the hydrological cycle, is worshipped.
We are going to Nakamiya, where the deity Iwanagahime, associated with longevity, stability, and permanence, is worshipped.
We finally go to Okumiya where Kuraokami and Takaokami, the water deities, as well as Tamayori-hime no Mikoto and her precious boat, are worshipped. The Okumiya is considered the oldest and most sacred site on the site.
