This intimate, small-group workshop offers a hands-on experience where you'll blend, knead, and hand-roll your own incense while learning about the history and purpose of each ingredient. No synthetic fragrances, charcoal, or artificial fillers are used-just beautiful botanicals and time-honored techniques.

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Corner of Mt. Rainer and Pyramid Circle, South Lake Tahoe. Your host will meet you at the corner and escort you to the workshop, located just steps away. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the schedule start time.
What to expect
We'll begin with an introduction to the botanical ingredients, including pine resin, aromatic herbs, flowers, and natural plant powders. You'll learn why each ingredient is used and how they work together to create beautiful, naturally scented incense without synthetic fragrances or charcoal.
Next, you'll blend your own incense mixture, add natural binders, and experience the hands-on process of kneading, rolling, and shaping your incense sticks completely from scratch. Throughout the workshop, you'll receive personal guidance and learn techniques you can continue using at homé.
While your incense begins to dry, we'll discuss the history of natural incense, traditional botanical uses, and simple tips for storing and burning your finished creations.
At the end of the experience, you'll take home the incense you made yourself, along with the knowledge and confidence to continue exploring this beautiful botanical craft.
