What to expect
Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from Iringa town at approximately 6:30 AM. Travel towards Ruaha National Park, with a short breakfast stop in Tungamalenga at around 8:30 AM. Continue to the park gate and arrive at approximately 9:30 AM.
After completing the park entry procedures, begin your safari with a short game drive as you enter the park. Continue with a full-day game drive, exploring different areas of Ruaha while looking for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and other wildlife. Enjoy a packed lunch during the safari.
In the late afternoon, depart Ruaha National Park at approximately 4:30 PM and begin the journey back to Iringa town, arriving at around 7:30 PM.
