Important Information:
Reservations may launch anytime between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM on the selected date.
Check in at the Crystal River Preserve Adventures office located at the end of the park road in the Main Marina Basin. There is no entrance fee to Crystal River Preserve State Park.
Tandem kayak capacity is 2 passengers or 500 lbs maximum, whichever comes first.
Tandem kayaks can be converted for single-person use if desired.
Please bring water, sunscreen, and a hat for sun protection.
Renters must be 18 years or older.
Children must be at least 12 years old to paddle in a tandem kayak with a parent or guardian in the group.
Children under 6 years old must wear a life jacket at all times while on the water.
Disposable items and alcohol are prohibited.
Pets are not permitted in rental equipment.
All kayaks must return to the launch by the scheduled end time. Late returns are subject to a $50 per vessel, per hour fee.

Meeting and pickup
Our rentals are located inside Crystal River Preserve State Park. All reservations will check in at our office at the end of the park road (main marina basin). Crystal River Preserve State Park does not currently have an entry fee.
What to expect
Your reservation is valid for any launch time between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM on your selected date, giving you flexibility to begin your adventure when it best fits your schedule. Choose to launch from the Main Marina Basin for the quickest access to the Crystal River or enjoy the calmer waters of Crystal Cove, which is ideal for beginners or windy conditions.
Your rental includes a tandem kayak, paddles, and personal flotation devices, allowing you to enjoy a fun and memorable paddling experience at your own pace.

- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
