The hanok itself is perfectly suited to the instrument. Its wooden walls and low ceilings allow the gentle resonance of the gayageum to unfold naturally. Just beyond the paper windows, a bamboo garden offers a quiet pause from the busy streets of Seoul. It is a rare place to hear—and play—Korea's traditional instrument in the setting where it truly belongs.

I'll guide you in simple English through demonstrations and hands-on practice, at whatever pace feels comfortable for you. No musical background—or perfect English—is needed.
