Everyone knows the Balaton beach — few see what's in the hills above it. The 46° Balaton Borbusz, Hungary's first hop-on hop-off wine bus, takes you there.

Many partner estates are intimate, family-run vineyards not typically open to the public — your pass to meet winemakers directly, from big names to hidden small-production cellars. We handle the routes and timing so you can enjoy every glass without worrying about driving home; purchased wine travels with the bus and comes back to you at day's end. Hop off into hilltop villages and past church ruins nearly 1,000 years old, predating Balaton tourism itself.

Two routes: "Régi Barátok" (Wed & Thu), through Balatonfüred, Aszófő, Pécsely, Balatonszőlős, Csopak, Lovas and Paloznak; and "Rejtett Kincsek" (Fri & Sat), through Balatonfüred, Aszófő, Pécsely, Vászoly, Mencshely, Óbudavár, Balatoncsicsó, Szentantalfa and Tagyon-hegy. Partners keep their own hours, so you'll get the confirmed open-winery list 24 hours before departure.

    Operating Schedule: Start: 11:00 AM, from Balatonfüred Full-day guests: hop off at up to 4 stops for two-hours deep dives at specific estates, then rejoin the next bus around. We have two routes, and in total 25+ wineries to choose from. Prefer to stay aboard: ride the whole circuit for a relaxing tour with onboard commentary, no hop-offs required Tailor your day: the bus passes back through central Balatonfüred every 2 hours, so you can end your day whenever suits you Last bus: the final "collecting" run returns to Balatonfüred by approximately 9:00–9:30 PM
