Day 1
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Afternoon Game Drive

Queen Elizabeth National Park
Your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel or residence in Kampala or Entebbe early in the morning for a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park in western Uganda. Along the way, you will make a stop at the Equator for photographs and an opportunity to purchase souvenirs before continuing through the beautiful countryside with views of tea plantations, rolling hills, and local communities. After lunch en route, continue to the park and check in at your lodge. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, one of the park's best wildlife viewing areas. Look out for elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs, waterbucks, lions, and a variety of bird species as your guide interprets the unique ecosystem. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2
Chimpanzee Trekking in Kyambura Gorge – Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Kalinzu Central Forest Reserve
After an early breakfast, proceed to Kyambura Gorge for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers before beginning your chimpanzee trekking experience. The gorge, often referred to as the "Valley of Apes," is home to habituated chimpanzees and other primates including black-and-white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, baboons, and vervet monkeys. Once the chimpanzees are located, you will spend one memorable hour observing their behavior in their natural habitat while learning about their ecology and conservation. Return to the lodge for lunch before enjoying a relaxing afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This natural waterway connecting Lake George and Lake Edward is renowned for its large concentration of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and numerous water birds along the shoreline. It offers one of the best wildlife viewing experiences in Uganda. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Morning Game Drive – Return to Kampala/Entebbe

Queen Elizabeth National Park
Wake up early for a final morning game drive when wildlife is most active. This is another excellent opportunity to spot predators such as lions and leopards, as well as elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and a wide variety of birdlife. After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast, check out, and begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. Enjoy lunch en route and arrive in the evening, marking the end of your memorable safari.
