We will meet at Exit 3 of Gongguan MRT Station, one of the most convenient entrances to this vibrant student district. From there, we will begin our journey into one of Taipei’s most interesting areas, where history, education, and local food culture come together. Our first stop is National Taiwan University (NTU), Taiwan’s most prestigious university and a place full of history and stories. After exploring the campus, we will continue our walk into Gongguan. The second half of the experience focuses on Taiwanese street food. We will visit popular local food spots and try classic snacks that Taiwanese students and residents enjoy. Depending on availability, we may taste favorites such as Taiwanese scallion pancakes, Gua Bao (Taiwanese pork belly buns), Taiwanese fried chicken.
