The meeting point is at the corner of Heiri-Steg/Uraniastrasse at Rudolf Brun Bridge, directly in front of the Swiss Heimatwerk. Your guide Bruno is waiting for you there. Alternatively, a meeting point at Zurich HB is possible by prior arrangement.

1Old Town
Walk through Schipfe, one of Zurich's oldest districts. Between Limmat, narrow streets and historic houses you will learn how craftsmen and boatmen shaped the life of the medieval city.

2Lindenhof Hill
At Lindenhof you will discover Zurich's Celtic and Roman origins. A Roman base and a customs station were located here, and later medieval palace buildings were built. Enjoy the view over Limmat and the old town.

See the remains of a Roman bath. The Thermengasse vividly shows how the inhabitants of ancient Turicum lived almost 2,000 years ago.

4Rathausbrucke
On the Rathausbrücke you will experience the historic center on the Limmat. Learn more about Zurich's Town Hall and the development of the medieval marketplace between the two sides of the old town.

6Fraumunster Church

7Hans Waldmann Statue
At the equestrian statue you will hear the story of Hans Waldmann : successful military leader, Zurich mayor and finally ousted power politician. His fate shows the conflicts of late medieval Zurich.
