You will watch as boiling dye baths, rich with color, bring silk to life the same process that gives Banarasi sarees their significance brilliance and depth. I will walk you through each stage, from selecting the dye to understanding how heat and chemistry work together to lock in color that lasts.

  You'll meet local weavers and watch a tradition that predates computers by centuries. Using a wooden hammer, the weaver punches precise holes into a thick card each hole a deliberate "on" or "off," much like the binary code behind every computer today. These punched cards are then used to guide thread through the loom, creating the intricate patterns woven into Banarasi silk. You'll get to see this process up close, understand how a single card can control hundreds of thread movements, and appreciate how this centuries old craft quietly laid the groundwork for ideas we now call "digital." It's a rare chance to connect the dots between an ancient loom and modern technology.

  Step into a centuries old tradition as you learn the art of "naksha" the hand drawn maps once used by pilgrims and locals to navigate the winding lanes of Varanasi long before modern maps existed. Seated in the heart of PIlikothi, you'll sketch your own naksha under the guidance of a local artist, tracing ghats, temples, Motifs and alleyways just as generations before you have done. This isn't just a drawing exercise it's a window into how Banaras has been understood, remembered, and passed down for centuries.

  Inside a building that's stood for over 80 years, you'll come face to face with the handloom the heart and soul of Banaras's silk weaving legacy. Watch as a master weaver, following techniques passed down for more than three centuries, brings a Banarasi saree to life thread by thread. You'll see how the loom works, learn about the intricate zari and silk patterns woven into every piece, and understand why these sarees are treasured as heirlooms across generations. It's a rare, up close look at a craft that has survived time, technology, and trends still practiced today exactly as it was hundreds of years ago.

  This is the last part of experience you will see the finished product like saree, scarf, Stoll, dupatta, brocade and dress material and all. You will see how from single thread everything converted into finished products. Guest can also purchase it from factory outlet made by my weavers.
