Depart from Heaton Ranch Tours in Alton, Utah, and travel with your guide through scenic backcountry ranchlands to the trailhead of the Rush Pink Cliffs area. Along the journey, take in panoramic views of Southern Utah's colorful landscapes, dramatic canyon country, and distinctive rock formations that resemble the famous scenery of Bryce Canyon, located on the opposite side of the mountain. Upon arrival, begin the challenging 2-mile Rush Pink Cliff Hike, climbing through striking pink limestone formations and rugged terrain. With an elevation gain of more than 1,000 feet and a starting elevation of approximately 8,000 feet, the hike rewards travelers with spectacular vistas overlooking canyons, forests, and the surrounding Grand Circle region. Wildlife such as mule deer, elk, and wild turkeys may also be spotted along the route before returning to the ranch.
