    Port Arthur Historic Site

    Port Arthur is one of Australia's oldest and best-preserved prisons, formerly used to detain serious criminals during the British colonial era. Two major fires in 1895 and 1897 almost destroyed most of the prison buildings. Today, following careful restoration, the site has become one of Australia’s 11 prisoner heritage sites and is listed on the World Heritage List for Australia; it is one of the country’s best-preserved prison heritage sites.

    Eaglehawk Neck

    The Tasman Peninsula is a peninsula in the south-east of Tasmania. It is renowned for its rugged eastern coastline. The narrow isthmus connecting the peninsula, known as Eaglehawk Neck, offers visitors the chance to see the Chessmen Stones, the Devil’s Kitchen external viewing platform, and the Martin Cash Lookout, amongst other attractions.
