What to expect

Sunglasses optional. Suspicion mandatory. Your mission in Eugene starts at Skinner Butte City Park. In plain terms: your team explores on foot and takes on spy missions together.

Come for the city. Stay for the moment your most sensible teammate says yes to something bold, and everyone talks about it for the rest of the day.

You do not need to be good at puzzles; you need people willing to have opinions, loudly, on a street corner. There may or may not be a double agent on your team.

About 2.5 hours and 4 stops over roughly 3.1 km. Your phone is your handler and your only witness, and there is nothing to download.

The verdict: better than a movie, mostly because nobody shushes you, and you leave with the photos.
