It's often called the "Switzerland of Uzbekistan" for its lush, alpine-style scenery.
The Zaamin mountains are considered a candidate for inclusion on the UNESCO World Natural Heritage list.
It is located in Jizzakh Region, Zaamin District, northern slopes of the Turkestan Range (Western Tian Shan), 220km from Tashkent.
The best season to visit is spring and early autumn (vivid colours, fresh mountain air, comfortable temperatures). Summer can bring heat on the approach through the steppe; winter brings snow, suited to skiing.
Comfortable transportation, professional accompaniment and unforgettable sceneries will make the day memorable for long time.
