Ola Distillery is located just outside of Hilo Town on the makai (ocean) side. Cross the Singing Bridge going north from Hilo, and its just about a half of a mile before you make a right into our beautiful distillery campus.

Visit Ola Distillery, located on a historic sugar mill property overlooking Hilo Bay, for a guided 75 to 90-minute exploration of Hawaiʻi’s heritage spirit, ʻŌkolehao. During this approximately 1.5-hour experience, travelers enter the distillery and learn about the history of this once-lost traditional Hawaiian spirit and its modern revival. Your guide explains each stage of production, including fermentation, distillation, proofing, and aging, offering insight into the craftsmanship behind every bottle. The tour includes a tasting of three award-winning ʻŌkolehao expressions, allowing guests to experience the distinct flavors discussed during the visit.
