Your adventure begins with a scenic "funivia" ride from Bolzano up to Soprabolzano, setting the stage for an unforgettable MTB journey!. You will start pedaling alongside the historic Renon narrow-gauge railway line before diving into a network of beautiful forest trails. As you go from the woods, you will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Dolomites and the surrounding rolling hills - a landscape so pristine it feels like entering a parallel world. Your ultimate destination is the famous Earth Pyramids, an incredible natural phenomenon. They originated from the erosion of clay deposits and rocks left behind by glaciers at the end of the last Ice Age. Over millennia, heavy rainfall washed away the unprotected soil, but large boulders acted as "hats," sheltering the earth underneath and shaping them into towering columns. Their origins date back 20,000 years. However, this is a living landscape. These are considered the highest and best-preserved earth pyramids in all of Europe.
