The sunset tour takes in the very heart of Sydney Harbour, and the route feels completely different in the evening light. As you paddle out from Lavender Bay, Luna Park begins to glow along the foreshore while the last of the daylight softens across the water, giving the whole harbour a calmer, more atmospheric feel. As the route opens up, the Sydney Opera House comes into view in the warm tones of sunset, with its white sails catching the golden light in a way most people never get to see. It is one of the most memorable parts of the tour, and for many guests, seeing the Opera House from the water at this time of day becomes a real highlight of the experience. From there, the Harbour Bridge comes into full view above you. Where conditions allow, the route takes you beneath the arch as dusk settles over the harbour, with the city beginning to glow and the water darkening around you.
