Most diving trips out of Split stay shallow and safe. This one does not.
The morning belongs to the Meje, a 30-metre passenger ship lying off the islet of Mrduja. Her deck sits at 40 metres, the bow at 47, and she rises from the blue as a complete silhouette rather than a scattering of plating. Sponges have claimed the hull, conger eels hold the openings, and you swim her full length before a staged ascent.
Midday belongs to Milna, a deep, quiet harbour on Brač where you eat at the waterfront and let the nitrogen clear properly.
The afternoon belongs to the outer coast of Šolta — the wild side facing the open sea, where steep walls and karst caves see almost no divers at all.
The hardest dive comes first, while you are freshest. Groups stay small. And if the sea is not right that day, we change site or reschedule rather than force it.

What to expect
We leave Split at nine and cross to the islet of Mrduja for the morning dive: the wreck of the Meje, a 30-metre passenger ship. You descend a fixed line to her deck at 40 metres, with the bow falling away to 47. Sponges cover the plating, conger eels shelter in the openings, and you swim the length of the hull and the open cabin section — no overhead penetration. Bottom time is short and set by your guide on the day, followed by a staged ascent with safety stops.
We then moor in Milna on Brač for a full surface interval and lunch at a waterfront konoba.
The afternoon dive takes you to the southern shore of Šolta, the wild side facing the open sea: steep walls, karst caves, gorgonians and sponges. Shallower and slower, with no pressure from depth.
You are back on the Split waterfront in the late afternoon.
