A Tale of Two Deborahs: In Black & White, Revolutionary NY is an original concept, presentation, & written work created by Lisa Burriss, founder of Black Footprints NYC, Inc. The work is descendant-led and rooted in the lived perspective of a Black woman & native New Yorker descended from enslaved Africans.

    Stop 1: Bowling Green — Meeting Point Your tour begins at **Bowling Green**, where your local Black Footprints NYC Licensed tour guide will be waiting to welcome the group and begin the experience. Look for your guide near the **Alexander Custom House**, now home to the **National Museum of the American Indian**. The museum is clearly marked and provides an easy landmark for finding your guide. **Meeting Point:** Bowling Green, in front of the Alexander Custom House / National Museum of the American Indian and right next to the Bowling Green training station. **Subway Access:** 4, 5 trains at Bowling Green; 1 train at South Ferry; R/W trains at Whitehall Street **Guide:** Your Black Footprints NYC local tour guide **Please Note:** Please arrive a few minutes early for check-in. This is an outdoor walking tour, so comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended.
