An itinerary off the beaten track: between Bender and Tiraspol discover cities, symbols and everyday life of a Transnistrian suspended in time.
Discover Transnistria on a small-group tour of up to 6 people. We will visit Bender and Tiraspol on foot, alternating about 10 km of walking with car trips, among historical places, curiosities and corners also linked to Italy.

1Chisinau
Departure from Chișinău between 8:30 and 9:00. After a brief introduction to the day, we will leave for Transnistria, or as it is called across the river - Pridnestrovie! During the trip (about 1 hour) we will retrace the history of Moldova and Transnistria, explaining the events that led to the birth of this de facto state, not recognized by the international community.

2Bender
Upon arrival we will visit Bender on foot, discovering the main places of interest and some lesser known corners, linked by history or curiosity also to Italy

3Bender
At lunch we are in a Soviet canteen, very nice and full of interesting things!

4Transnistria
This tour includes an optional experience of your choice between the Abandoned Soviet School or the Medieval Fortress (both options are already included in the price!). Only one of the two experiences will be included for each tour/date. Important note on group dynamics: As this is a semi-private/group tour, the choice of experience is determined by the first customers who make the Reservation for that date. Travelers who join the same group later will follow the itinerary already confirmed by the first booked.

5Tiraspol
The tour begins with a short stop at a quaint antique shop, where you can buy souvenirs and curious memorabilia from the Soviet era. Afterwards we will start the walk in the center of Tiraspol, discovering its most important symbols: the statue of Suvorov, Lenin, the Government House, Catherine II, the Banner dedicated to Gagarin and the majestic House of Soviets. For each place I will tell you a short story, curiosity or anecdote, to discover Tiraspol not only through its monuments, but also through the little stories that make them unique.

6Chisinau
