Sydney has plenty of whisky tastings. It has plenty of magic shows. It doesn’t have anywhere that weaves the two together, in a working 1846 cellar for up to five guests.
It works equally well as a date night, a group of friends, or a small corporate outing.
And the magic isn’t something you watch. It happens in your hands, between pours — close enough that you’ll be checking your own glass afterward.

Go into the building and down the stairs.
What to expect
You’ll sit at one table in a stone cellar beneath one of Sydney’s best whisky bars.
Your whiskies are poured by the bar staff and waiting when you arrive.
Over sixty minutes you’ll taste them one at a time while I tell you about the bars I found in Japan and the people behind them.
Between pours I perform right in front of you. You’ll shuffle cards, make choices, and hold things in your hands.
At the start I’ll tell you I’m lying once. At the end you’ll find out when.
