What to expect

Step 1: Welcome & Introduction
Begin your journey with a warm welcome at our cozy workshop in Busan. We will introduce you to the fascinating history and techniques of traditional Korean Jagae (mother-of-pearl) crafting.

Step 2: Design & Jagae Crafting
Choose your preferred item (such as a compact mirror or keychain) and select from a variety of natural mother-of-pearl pieces. Guided step-by-step by our expert host, you will carefully layout and attach the iridescent shell pieces to craft your own unique masterpiece. No prior artistic experience is needed!

Step 3: Traditional Tea Ceremony (Dado) & Tasting
While your handcrafted masterpiece is set to dry, relax with an authentic Korean Dado experience. Learn the gentle art and respectful etiquette of tea preparation, and savor freshly brewed traditional Korean tea paired with delicious local sweets.
