At Heaven Hills Kitchen, immerse yourself in the vibrant culinary traditions of Puerto Rico. Located in the scenic foothills of El Yunque National Park, this hands-on cooking class invites you to prepare a full Puerto Rican meal, starting with a refreshing cocktail. Over the course of 3 to 4 hours, you’ll chop, stir, and savor traditional dishes while learning about their cultural significance. Designed for groups of 4 to 10, this interactive experience is perfect for both culinary enthusiasts and casual cooks. Expect to create memorable dishes and enjoy a delicious meal with your new friends.

We will meet at the home in Colinas Del Yunque, Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. Detailed information will be shared upon confirmation. We can assist with transportation if needed.
What to expect
Begin with a warm welcome and introduction to the day’s menu, then craft a tropical Puerto Rican-inspired cocktail using local flavors.
Next, put on your apron and head to the kitchen! Prepare an appetizer such as empanadillas, bacalaítos, queso frito, shrimp ceviche, or wings. Then create your main course, choosing from favorites like churrasco, shrimp, Kan-Kan pork, whole fried snapper, mahi-mahi, or pastelón. Complete your meal with traditional sides such as mofongo, rice & beans, granos, tostones, or majado de malanga.
Finish with a classic dessert—tres leches, flan, or tembleque—while learning techniques you can recreate at home. Once the cooking is complete, gather around the table, relax, and enjoy the multi-course meal you created together.
