First, experience the traditional art of chopstick making under the guidance of Kawakami Shoten, a specialty shop dedicated to Japanese chopsticks. You will carefully shape and finish your own pair of chopsticks using fragrant Japanese larch (Karamatsu) from Nagano Prefecture.

You will also learn how to make authentic soba noodles using buckwheat flour from Komoro City, with hands-on instruction from a professional soba artisan. Once your handmade chopsticks are beautifully finished, use them to enjoy freshly made, fragrant soba noodles—a truly special and satisfying experience.
