The tour starts with driving away from the crowds and city lights, moving at an unhurried pace to find clear, open skies, with a maximum of 4 guests for a calm, intimate experience.
The group settles into the Arctic night, watching the sky, and if the lights appear, everyone stays with them as the colors shift and dance while the guide shares stories, helps with camera settings, and, weather permitting, keeps a bonfire going.
The northern lights are completely natural, so sightings can never be guaranteed. We will always do our best to search for them. The visibility depends on clear skies and solar activity, so the only thing we can control is driving to areas with the best weather conditions.
Warm drinks and traditional snacks are enjoyed throughout, with photos taken of guests against the Arctic sky, in a quiet, nature-based evening designed for adults.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
The guide will pick you up at the entrance of Radisson Blu Hotel in the city center of Bodø (Storgata 2), opposite the main entrance of the city library, Stormen. The guide will be holding a sign with our logo, company name, and name of the experience on it.
