Offered in: Norwegian and 1 more

Feel the cool breeze, breathe in the fresh air, hear the powerful churn of the tidal currents, touch the quiet Arctic nature, and let your eyes rest on the unique beauty of Northern Norway’s hidden gems. This Saltstraumen tour is a serene journey through Bodø’s lesser‑known landscapes, including the world‑famous maelstrom itself. The experience blends gentle walks, rich birdlife, and scenic viewpoints, showcasing steep mountain peaks, clear lakes, and quiet valleys. We move at a calm pace, pausing often to enjoy the shifting Arctic light and the subtle details of the landscape.

From late spring to early autumn, the tour may include a calm walk with approximately 125 meters of elevation. This gentle ascent leads to beautiful views over fjords and surrounding mountains, offering a deeper connection to the landscape. This optional walk is added only when conditions allow, when the trail is dry and safe.
