Sixty Minutes of Guided Mobility and Deep Stretching

1 hour (approximately)
Offered in: English and 1 more

Sixty minutes of guided mobility and deep stretching on the lawns of Villa Pamphilj: no singing, no spirituality, just a method that works.
The only outdoor mobility session for those visiting Rome: an hour of targeted recovery, not a generic group yoga class.
Designed for the body of the traveler: hip flexors shortened by flights, calves and feet put to the test by cobblestones, stiff shoulders from backpacks and the hotel mattress.
A job articulation from articulation that comes from mobility training and physiotherapy, not a sequence to follow remotely.
Led by a trainer with over ten years of experience in Rome, in Italian and English, with small groups of 10 people and direct corrections on each one.
Mats and tools provided; no experience or flexibility needed to start, and every position has a version suitable for you.

What to expect

Rome tests the body severely. Four hours a day around the city, a flight to get there, public transport, trains, and maybe an electric scooter: by the third day, my hips are stiff and my neck won't turn properly.
This session is the remedy.

Morning Mobility & Stretching is a 60-minute guided outdoor session on the lawns of Villa Doria Pamphilj, the largest public park in Rome, above Trastevere. It is a structured job, articulation by articulation, which comes from mobility training and physiotherapy: the same protocols that athletes use on rest days.

No experience or flexibility required: every position has a version suitable for where your body is today, and the instructor will suggest it before you even have to ask. Groups are limited to 10 people, so you receive direct feedback. Sessions in Italian and English, with certified trainers who have been working in Rome for over ten years.

Mats, blocks, and belts are provided. Bring clothing in which you can move, water, and a light fleece for the last few minutes, because in the morning the grass remains cool. It is practiced barefoot or in socks on the mat.
