Discover the impressive Saxon Switzerland on a day tour that takes you to the spectacular views of the Bastei, to the spa town of Bad Schandau, with a Bohemian lunch break in Hrensko/CZ or in Gohrisch/DE and with the highlight of visiting the historic Königstein Fortress (2h stay). There is a separate admission fee to be paid at the fortress. This tour allows you to experience the breathtaking nature and fascinating sights of the region in a small group. Meeting and pickup
The access is directly behind the bus and tram stop "Pirnaischer Platz". The meeting point at the back end of the car park, is on Wilsdruffer Straße / corner of St. Petersburger Straße. The vehicle is a Peugeot Traveller bus, yellow-white and covered with the company print: TAGESTOUR-DRESDEN.de.

Her first goal is the spectacular Bastei view. From the parking lot of the Panorama Hotel, it is only a few steps to the famous observation deck. Enjoy one of the most beautiful views in Germany of the Elbe Valley, the bizarre sandstone rocks, and the unique landscape of the Saxon Switzerland National Park. The stay is scheduled for about 45 – 60 minutes. During this time, there is the possibility for a small snack, a toilet visit, or unforgettable souvenir photos. We then continue her journey through the national park. The road winds through the idyllic places Porschdorf and Rathmannsdorf down into the Elbe valley.

3Hrensko
In Hřensko/CZ, a relaxed lunch break of about an hour awaits you in a cozy inn. Take the opportunity to enjoy regional Bohemian specialties and gather new energy for the rest of the tour. If you do not have a VISA to enter the Czech Republic/CZ, we will stay in Germany and spend our lunch break in Gohrisch, on the way to Königstein Castle.

4Koenigstein
After the lunch break, her route leads to Königstein via winding panoramic roads. The highlight of the tour is the imposing Königstein Fortress – one of the largest mountain fortresses in Europe. As a tour group, we can drive directly to the visitor elevator, so you are spared the arduous climb. Admission is not included in the fare and is paid on site. In 2026, the regular admission price for adults is 17 euros. Children up to and including 6 years old have free admission. In addition, attractive family cards are offered. We plan for about two hours for the tour of the extensive fortress complex. Look forward to impressive views over the Elbe Valley, exciting exhibitions, and centuries-old history.

After a eventful day, we begin the relaxed return journey to Dresden. Our route leads through Struppen and Pirna along the Elbe back to the starting point. Look forward to an unforgettable day trip with fascinating landscapes, spectacular viewpoints, and the most famous sights of Saxon Switzerland.
